In 2024 Stefan was invited to be a headlining artist at the Cheltenham Festival in the UK.

 

'I wanted to paint two people from seemingly different worlds seeking connection, feeling isolated yet so close to one another. I elaborated on this point by using different colour palettes for each figure. One has vibrant, saturated tones, and the other uses a very old one with only 4 colours, referred to as the Zorn colour palette.'
